why must the year end this way...
ok...its the last day of year 2004...wanted to write a summary of the yr..but..kinda lazy...as the wonderful weather is making me sleepy...hahaha...so i shall do it in point form briefly....
1. enjoyed one of the best times of my life...spending about 8 months doing nothing..apart from driving n working for slightly more than a month....i wanna turn back the times n go back to the beginning of the yr...
2. entered nus n found out how f*cked up the school is...especially administratively...whats the pt of nus being 18th in the world when there's f*cked up admin pple in it...its not only admin pple actualli...some lecturers n tutors r also..just that...not as f*cked up as the admin....
3. finding out how sucky the nus bidding system is. need i explain more?
4. having my 2nd home in pgp...erm on the other hand this may not be that significant? (im running out of things to say)
5. getting back my A level results...which..ok la around my expectations...was so darn relieved after the papers n getting back the results...(i realised this should have been written before the nus pt but im lazy to shift it)
6. trying ice skating n not really liking it
7. learnt to play bridge n loving/missing it
8. tried pool and learnt how tyco n suay i can be..tyco cos somehow i can get almost impossible balls in even though i din even aim for that ball...but wats the pt of being so tyco...cos in the end i'll end up getting the white ball in before the black ball.....
9. learnt archery...n the bruises i got is spoiling my interest in it....
10. finally not taking badz...miss it at times...but at least i have more free time for myself now! esp during the hols
11. pissed cos bush was re-elected
12. learning that slightly half of america is dumb (look at the above)
13. oh how can i forget this.....learning driving n passing it!!!
14. i tink thats about it...cant really think of more? maybe i'll edit this posting when i can think of more
at first i tot of going for some countdown..but the thought of squeezing with people n the weather today...maybe i should just watch on tv..but yet..tv isnt showing...sigh..its a boring xmas eve...i realised..that as i grow older..all these supposedly special occasions...r becoming so boring.....plus...the yr has to end so gloomily with the rising death toll, rotting n bloated corpses, devastated land, millions of people displaced and in need of aid...i shant go on..its too depressing....
anyhow..wishing all a happy new yr...may 2005 be a better yr with no more war (but its impossible with bush in office) and catastrophies...
p.s i forgot to add im so sad that channel u is merging with mediacorp...cos i love the current chn u n i hate mediacorp..and chn u will be so different when it joins mediacorp..sigh
