dawn yeo

i didnt really wanna blog about this..but after reading today's new paper...i got pretty pissed once again..ok not pissed..just..didnt feel comfortable? haahaha. yep its the hottest talkbout thingey in the blogging world - dawn yeo/yang on whether she has had plastic surgery or not...(i dun wanna elaborate la just type dawn yeo in some search engine n u'll find the chain of stuff on her)..well personally after looking at the photos posted all over...its pretty obvious that she had gone under the knife...n perhaps many times based on the speculations by different pple..which i tink make sense? haha not sure cos im not an expert on plastic surgery but thats what i think...anyway i dun wanna talk bout whether she has had plastic surgery or not...but its more like...the image/trend/idea (whatever) that is implanted....oh ya n for this post im assuming that she did go under the knife based on what i've seen n she has never outright denied it (i think)...dun mean to be malicious here la but just my pt of view.....

1. i dun tink the pt here is only plastic surgery alone..ya like wat the article said..i cant rem is it her or her manager said..that a lot of artistes have gone thru plastic surgery...but i assume theirs is just..maybe double eyelid or enhancing cheeks or making lips fuller...but i believe dawn's is a major revamp...its a whole new totally different face...from a totally asian face to an angmohish-eurasian face..how are pple supposed to believe that she didnt go under the knife? i dunno..but anyway..tinsel management signing her on n promoting her like mad....wat idea does it give? in the first article they oredi mentioned that she needs a lot of brushing up cos she's not there yet blah blah...but yet they still wanna promote her..all i can see is her looks r the only things thats y they signed her on? yes i agree she's hot, but i dun really like the idea it gives to pple, especially kids. yeah its obvious its better to have looks cos it'll get u further..cant deny that..not only in media industry but almost anywhere..but is it trying to say that even going under the knife to get the looks is perfectly normal, so as long as u HAVE the look? if its natural looks...viola then i think she really deserves it...but to go thru a major revamp n get to where she is n being so popular n even eric khoo wants to get her in his movie or sumthing...i just..dun like the idea it gives..esp to kids..cos i find kids now..or maybe specifically sec sch girls..pretty vain? haha maybe im wrong here but thats just how i feel.....wat if kids think that to enter the media industry..just go under the knife n get a wow look n the red carpet is in front of u? maybe i sound too far-fetched here but....yeah...

2. it doesnt sound fair that cos she got her looks...now the endorsements n mags r all approaching her...cos if she did go under the knife...she/her parents had to probably spend a lot since its a major revamp on her face....it just makes me think that the rich/poor divide is getting wider? hahah i noe this sounds far-fetched again..but..it gave me the idea that if u have the cash n maybe in this case a hell lot of money)..u can get viola looks n maybe anything else u wan. n wat bout those who r poorer? ok maybe it can be argued that the poorer ones dun deserve it since they dun have the cash so even if they wanna go for plastic surgery they cant afford it. combining pts 1 n 2..wat bout poorer children who feel that they dun look pretty n get the idea from dawn's case n wanna go under the knife even though they cant afford it? in this case if dawn actually did..ok fine she had the cash. but wat bout those who worship her ugly-duckling-become-swan story n take her as their idol or sumthing?

3. again this case emphasises that looks r more impt that perhaps anything else. yeah its obvious looks r impt even though most pple like us try to tell ourselves its not the case? hahahahahha...i dunno...but wat im gonna say next is like..back to the impact on how the youngsters view this case. it again emphasises that looks r like..the most impt asset....though i dun tink its necessarily the most most impt but..aiya i noe im repeating but i just dun like what the whole thing is teaching kids indirectly!

4. the article mentioning that the manager saying that "these bloggers are just a group of people with malicious intent. the only person she's answerable to is me because i invested time and money in her". well i dun agree that these bloggers r malicious..cos maybe they feel that its unfair going under the knife, saying that she didnt, as though her beauty is a natural thing, n getting all these deals. yeah i noe the manager is protecting here, but by saying this, i think she is sounding too defensive n i believe she'll anger more pple with such comments? plus the part that she mentioned "i invested time and money in her"..i dunno..but what is this world coming to? its all sounding like only looks and money is impt. thats how i interpret it..

5. she's afterall..only 21...yet she has gone thru..again im saying im assuming....many times of plastic surgery...is that the only thing in her mind? i dun wanna drag her fam members in..but if she has really gone for it before...for the many surgeries...i wonder wat her parents r actually thinking? i noe i should just focus on the issue but i cant help but think of this pt also..its not that im totally anti plastic surgery..but at this age....

6. assuming that she did go thru it...n in the first article she denied it...im pretty confused wat's the idea she is giving? n if she really did it n denied it...i really dunno wat to say about her...n now...there's endorsements movie deals r coming to her just lidat? hahhaah im sounding to sound jealous but no...aiya how to phrase....erm....that looks r more impt that anything else, even one's personality n honesty n inner beauty? its back to the same pt on wat it tells pple or tries to "educate" pple?

aiya suddenly mind-block...i forgot wat else i wanted to say liao...hahha i noe my 1st 3 pts sound quite alike yet different...but i lazy to go edit esp since im supposed to study..yeah...but its just how i feel just that i noe my pts r messy.....well i hope im not one of those that is "malicious" by putting my two cents' worth here...since i didnt choose to put up her pics..hahahhaha...its just my personal feelings n im not saying any of this to increase viewership or whatever in this blog since i always wanted to keep this blog low profile..but i just have to say this after reading the article.....yeah......if dawn has a great path from here...well i wish her well since now she has the looks to enter the media industry n go far even to the taiwanese hk n even mtv asia...but....i just dun like the whole idea of going under the knife just to try to enter the industry...again assuming if she did go under the knife. if she didnt...woohoo then i think she's really blessed with good looks..but my pt of view? i beg to differ that she didnt go under the knife....=)
