hitler

recently there has been a big hoo haa over this bunch of students who declared that hitler was their idol n used his picture as their grp mascot or sumthing..sounds like the typical og sort of thing...ok if i say this..it may create mayhem to this blog of mine..cos i sort of agree with the students...all except the holocaust part...but wat im gonna say below..is just my point of view of stuff....


honestly...to me it is a fact that hitler was smart...can see it from his mein kampf, that he planned from the beginning...well at least there was some planning? from his exploitation of the weakness of the weimar system, to how to win the germans over by creating jobs, n his charismatic voice, tone, stage presence, choice of words, so as to win over the people..to knowing the weakness of his opponents like britain n france n he knew how to pressure them to handing sudetenland over. well i have studied history..n im older n (hopefully) more mature than the (quoted from the new paper) "insensitive students"..but no doubt..in some ways..hitler was smart.....of cos i have stopped studying history for quite some time...n perhaps i left out quite a bit of stuff he did...but i feel that wat i said above..shows hitler's shrewdness, intelligence (be it positive or negative sort of intelligence u may say), and detailed planning.


but even though i tink hitler was smart...of cos i dun agree with wat he did during the holocaust..i wun go thru the details cos i tink its pretty obvious...ya so overall...i still tink he's a smart guy who used his intelligence in the wrong ways? at least towards the end it was definitely the wrong path....


and while typing this..it suddenly came to me..that if the students had used bush as their mascot n idol...would there be such a big hoo haa? i dun tink so..cos he is the president of the US...but i was just tinking bout the similarities between him n hitler.....haahhahah..

1. both of them started the war => hitler-ww2. bush-iraq war
2. both could gain profits => hitler-third reich. bush-oil..or ok ok in his words..security
3. both acted on the weaknesses of certain bodies => hitler-weimar. bush-un
4. both were as sly => hitler-exploitation of weaknesses. bush-doctored documents or watever he did to say that there were wmd in iraq that was a danger to US' security
5. ignored opposition? => hitler-enabling act, ss, sa, night of long knives. bush-completedly ignored those who opposed his plans to invade iraq


so i was wondering..the students had to go thru counselling, n find out more bout hitler n present to the sch to "realise their mistakes"...but wat if there were supporters of bush? im sure they wun need to research on him n present their findings to the sch rite?


oh n suddenly the enabling act, claming down opposition, etc..sounds familiar n nearby...but i shant elaborate on this....cos i cant! haha


to end this post off..i stress once again that the above is purely my own opinion...wanna go against it..no problem...yesh ultimately bush is slightly more humane than hitler..but i tink he is dumber...haha..fine im not a bush supporter...cos im anti-war....so to me..whoever starts war is somehow an (fill in the blanks)...so y should hitler be denounced until lidat n the students called "insensitive"..yet bush...erm i guess no one will bother if any students claim he is their idol? ok i better end this off fast i realise im straying n my usage of words is a bit off...hahah...
