ok i'll try to keep this post short...cos im tired..but i need to...scream out...hahahah....
today had our first socio tutorial...n i din realli like my tutor...hope no one from that class reads this (apart from rozie la)..i wanted to tell u this but got no time cos i had to rush for psy lect...dunno leh...i just find him...the...indirectly boastful kind...like...he trying not to be boastful bout his achievements..but is also trying to boast bout it discreetly? something lidat la..he spent..20 min introing himself...bout his life in nus..do masters dunno how many years...going to us or canada for phd..his sister...wat psc scholar..blahblah...k la maybe he was just trying to be modest..but...it came to me differently lor...at first when i saw his pic in the socio admin pg..i tot he quite a looker..k la he is quite good looking...BUT HIS HAIR NOW...like he gone thru a major explosion lidat...as he was saying how many years he spent here n there...I COUNTED HIS AGE K..see i was so bored until i counted his age..he is 29 this yr...n he dresses like...my brother! k la my brother's hair not that terok...but..his hair is realli..im so tempted to take a pic of him...n put it somewhere for u all to see....he said he's a transitional adult..tink its pretty apt...but...his hair...n dressing...hhhhmmmmmm...dun even seem adult? hahahah...
ok he's not the worse...ok maybe he is by making us count numbers la..like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4 n so on..to grp us..i got 2..grp 2...fine....din tink bout it at first..then got into the groups...weirdly..heck i dunno wats the word..i got into the same grp as zhiye..this..tj senior..but of cos he doesnt recognise me since i wasnt from ahs n he is 3 yrs my senior so technically i will neva have trained with him in tj..then 2 other gals..both of them r quite nice la...i tink both of them yr1 also...BUT THERE'S THIS GUY...AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH...when he was introing himself..the way he talk..i dun like him liao lor....n i realised he's in my grp also!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH...nvm..i told myself that maybe he isnt so bad...ok so the first thing we had to do was to discuss some questions lloyd (my tutor) wrote on the board...since lloyd said socio majors lead the discussion since they noe more concepts bout socio..so in my grp onli zhiye is a socio major..so he talked more initially...THEN THIS FREAKING GUY....ya la contribute is one thing..BUT HE TALKS ON N ON...N ITS NONSENSE...can see the gal beside me rolling her eyes..n i dunno whether i did although i wanted to badly...hahahaha...he just..regurgitated stuff from the course pack..fine la...wanna talk bout politicizing...all the concepts...fine....BUT HE SAYS IT AT THE WRONG TIME!!!!!!! like..this qn asking for this..he talking bout that...this qn asking for that..he answers some stuff...very weirdly..until i realli had the HUH face....then got one qn...how does the study of socio affect the study of deviance...or sumwhere along that line..cant rem the exact words..but its bout that 2 issues...so typical answers r the study of socio is bout how environmental factors affect how stuff is perceived...n who enforces this n that...y r things this n that..but...he came up with this funny ans...that i dun even bother remembering so i cant type now....then we came up with the micro macro thing..like socio isnt about the individual..its bout society..so its essentially on the macro..or sumthing lidat...then he said its micro....but since socio is the study of society...society = a lot of pple, generalization..yet he said its micro..n i dunno wats the reason he gave...then we oredi done the first part on is crime n deviance different...in wat ways...n is it necessary...he keeps ranting on the pt bout its necessary so that its easier to enforce punishment..n politicizing politicizing politicizing...UUUUURRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.....then when i tot it was over....LLOYD SAID THAT THAT GRP WE R IN WILL BE THE PROJECT GRP....PIANG!!! there goes my marks for the project....sc1101e was bad enuff for me with a C+ which pulled my cap all the way down...now its SC2212...still a socio mod...there's no way with him around, my proj can be that gd lor..unlike el1101e...the 3 gals oredi give up on him..zhiye..like dun realli rebutt him..not veri nice to rebutt also...but...u noe...rozie in the other grp can also feel that he is those who wants pple to listen to his (screwed) views....BBBBBBAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.........
sry but this isnt the end...then after the tut...i was..pretty fuming/pissed...not the volcanic kind but the...speechless kind..then me n rozie went to the toilet before i headed for psy lect....one of the girls in my grp (i cant rem her name..its a chinese name)...was complaining to her fren bout that guy also!!! n her fren is in rozie's grp..so like wat rozie was saying...2 gals from that grp complaining to 2 gals in her grp (including her)..which was pretty funny...the toilet ended up to be the bitching place...BUT SERIOUS LOR.......15 MARCH...THE DUE DATE OF THE PROJECT.........i dunno whether to look forward or not look forward to that day.....oh ya the other thing...I CANT STAND HIS HAIR...not lloyd...but that...chong sumthing guy...its like...centre/slightly off centre parting..with the fringe neatly combed (with gel) down sideways...aiya.........eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkksssssssssssssssssss.........howhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhowhow.......bbbbbbbbbaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
now its psy...i realli tink i'll drop psy as my major..cos...i realli dun like wats going on..its too bio for me..n i havent taken bio before...but the thing is..concentrating on sw alone is so sian...n if i cant take honours...do 1 major onli..like so waste my money..like..i onli noe bout sw n nothing else....n if i can take honours...i dun even noe whether i want/can handle cos i dun wanna spend 1 more yr in uni when i can get out to work n earn money....social work honours..wat freaking prospects will i have.....which means that social work degree alone..largi no prospects..n its better to say sw/psy major..rather than sw major..when the general public thinks that sw = volunteering work = no need degree = those who study that r dumb....serious...even my lecturer in sw1101e says a lot of pple think that way....bbbblllllaaaaahhhhhh.....but i realli dun tink i can handle psy..some more got 2 stats mods...if got 1..maybe i can survive..but...its 2...aaaaaahhhhhhhh.....
